The Twilight Tour (which is being held in the daytime this year!) in Transylvania County! – December 3, 2011
The annual holiday event will be held from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. Downtown businesses will be open for all day visits providing refreshments, entertainment and a preview of holiday gifts.
The following activities will be held in the streets that are closed:
• horse drawn carriages to carry you from one end of town to the other
• school church choruses will be performing at the courthouse gazebo
• Santa Clause will be waiting at My Favorite Season to review children’s wish lists
The street activities will be followed by the Christmas Parade at 3:00 pm. To end the day the County will host its 150th Closing Celebration at the courthouse at 4:30 pm and the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on the courthouse lawn at 5:30 pm.
There will be booths set up for activities and refreshments and special Christmas costume characters will be in and out of the stores welcoming you to share Christmas cheer with your friends and families in downtown Brevard.
